Christian Baltar

Co-Founder

Christian Baltar is a committed co-founder of Smiles on the Spectrum, a student-led initiative focused on making dental care more predictable, accessible, and supportive for autistic, sensory-sensitive, and anxious patients. His work began with a simple observation: many patients do not fear care itself as much as they fear the uncertainty surrounding it.

Through Smiles on the Spectrum, Christian is working to create practical tools that help patients understand what to expect before they arrive at the dental office. His vision combines patient preparation, sensory-aware education, virtual office tours, and DentCue, a guided dental preparation app currently in development.

As a student interested in healthcare, accessibility, and patient-centered innovation, Christian hopes to help dental offices better support patients before the appointment begins, making oral healthcare feel less intimidating and more approachable for the communities that need it most.

Isadora Jazayeri

Co-Founder

Isadora Jazayeri is a proud co-founder of Smiles on the Spectrum inc, a student-led initiative focused on making dental care more predictable, accessible, and supportive for autistic, sensory-sensitive, and anxious patients. Passion for creating meaningful change in her community is only one of her many amazing qualities.

As co-founder, Isadora plays an active role in shaping the organization's mission and outreach efforts. She works closely with dental professionals, students, and families to develop practical resources that help patients feel more comfortable in their dental visits. Her work is grounded in the belief that uncertainty can often be one of the greatest sources of anxiety for patients, and that providing clear expectations and supportive tools can make healthcare experiences significantly more positive.

Through community engagement, advocacy, and education, she hopes to encourage dental practices to adopt more patient-centered approaches that improve access to care for underserved populations. Through Smiles on the Spectrum, she hopes help dental practices, and patients in her community feel more equipped approaching dental visits.
